British Swim School at Pingry School – Basking Ridge

We absolutely love the British Swim School. The instructors are fun, kind, caring, and attentive to the kids no matter the age. The swim curriculum is excellent - we've noticed big changes in our little simmer.

Thoroughly disappointed with the British Swim School at this location. We moved to Basking Ridge about a year back and having started my daughter's swim lessons at another British Swim school closer to our old house, we continued her swim lessons here. While the facility seemed decent initially, unfortunately our experience has only gone downhill. My daughter has not progressed in her abilities in over 3 months. Constant change in instructors, new instructors who continue to teach skills that she already has mastered, has been the main issue. There is no consistency or plan to track the progress of anyone taking lessons. We have spoken to the schedulers on multiple occasions and even to the owner to try and get this sorted, but to no avail. Promises are made but never followed up on. My daughter is eligible for 6 make up classes, but we just cannot go through this all over again. We just sent an email to get a full refund for the missed classes, after which we plan to discontinue.

My son has learned so much over the past few months. We started classes over the summer and he was barely able to float and now he has advanced to being able to swim freestyle, backstroke and butterfly the whole length of the pool. This is a great program and I highly recommend British swim school. I love that they teach survival first and skills come along with it.

Great instructors and the team is easy to deal with. We’ve been using alternate location at Morristown and happy with it.

It has been amazing to watch our toddler become comfortable in the water and learn the basics of water safety.
